Therapy In Utah (Ages 12+)

Structured, depth-oriented therapy for adolescents and adults across Utah.

Depth-Oriented Therapy for Long-Term Change

Our approach to therapy focuses on identifying and addressing root causes — not simply managing surface symptoms.

Along the way, patients often experience meaningful relief from anxiety, depression, and relational conflict. But our long-term goal is deeper structural change in emotional regulation, identity, relationships, and coping patterns.

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Treatment plans are individualized and evolve as insight develops.

Types of Therapy We Provide

  • Individual Therapy

  • Couples Therapy

  • Family Therapy

We work with adolescents and adults facing emotional, behavioral, relational, and trauma-related concerns.

Couples therapy includes high-conflict relationships, betrayal recovery, and complex relational dynamics, using structured models such as the Gottman Method and family systems principles.

Conditions We Treat

We provide therapy for:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • OCD

  • Bipolar disorder (in coordination with medication when needed)

  • Personality disorders

  • Feeding and eating disorders*

  • Substance use concerns

  • Relationship conflict

  • Family dysfunction

  • ADHD and Autism Spectrum concerns

*We do not treat individuals in medically unstable or acute starvation phases of eating disorders. Therapy is provided following medical stabilization and focuses on long-term recovery and systemic change.

Therapy Modalities and
Clinical Approach

Our therapists are trained in multiple evidence-informed and depth-oriented approaches, including:

  • Family Systems Therapy

  • EMDR

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

  • Gottman Method (Couples Therapy)

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • And More

Rather than rigidly applying one model, therapy integrates modalities based on the patient’s presentation and goals.

Coordinated Psychiatry and Therapy

For some patients, therapy alone is sufficient. Others benefit from combining therapy with psychiatric medication management.

When appropriate, care is coordinated internally with our psychiatric medication management team to provide integrated treatment planning.

Advanced Treatment Pathways

If therapy and medication do not produce adequate improvement, advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine Assisted Therapy are available at our Lehi location.

This allows for continuity of care within a single clinical system.

Clinical Training and Standards

All therapists participate in our structured Master Therapy Training Program, developed by Dr. Watson.

This year-long training emphasizes:

  • Systems-based case formulation

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Advanced relational dynamics

  • Integration of multiple therapy modalities

  • Ongoing supervision and mentorship

  • And more

The goal is consistency, depth, and long-term clinical effectiveness.
