Ashley Nielson, CMHC-I

Intern Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Ashley Nielson is a therapist specializing in clinical mental health counseling who works with individuals navigating life’s challenges with compassion and curiosity. She has experience supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, faith crises, and survivors of sexual violence. Ashley strives to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their experiences, gain insight, and reconnect with their inner strengths.

Ashley has a particular passion for supporting individuals processing religious trauma and navigating crises of faith. She understands that these experiences can often feel isolating and overwhelming, and she seeks to provide a steady, nonjudgmental presence as clients work toward healing and clarity.

Ashley graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University and is currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University.

Outside of her clinical work, Ashley enjoys weightlifting, teaching dance at a local studio, solving weekly puzzles with her grandmother, and spending time with her partner and loved ones.
