Andrew Rice, FNP, PMHNP

Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Andrew Rice, DNP, APRN, FNP-C/BC, PHMNP-C/BC obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, magna cum laude, at Weber State University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in family nurse practitioner at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals. In addition, he also completed post-graduate certification in psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals. Andrew is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Having had experience in family medicine, this gives Andrew the unique ability to better understand the connection between the body and the mind. This allows him to be able to provide a holistic approach with his patients. He also is interested in getting to the root cause of the problems instead of  treating only symptoms. He believes that by doing this, the patient will have better outcomes overall and in the long-term. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He has special interests in ADHD, autism, and addiction. He speaks Spanish and Russian at a conversational level.

In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his wife and cat. He loves playing various instruments including the clarinet, alto saxophone, flute, piano, and organ. He volunteers every week with the West Jordan Community Band. He also enjoys learning languages.
