Chris De la Vega is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He works with families, couples, and adolescents, helping them navigate the challenges of relationships, personal growth, and life transitions.
Chris focuses on creating a supportive and collaborative environment where individuals and families can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns. Using evidence-based CBT techniques, he helps clients develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen communication, and build more resilient relationships.
In his work with couples and families, Chris emphasizes understanding relational dynamics, improving emotional connection, and fostering mutual respect. When working with adolescents, he supports young people as they navigate the complexities of identity development, peer relationships, and family challenges.
Outside of clinical practice, Chris enjoys reading—particularly in the areas of history and art—and exploring how cultural and historical contexts influence human behavior and relationships. He also enjoys writing about mental health, relationships, and personal development.
